Exhibition: Artist's Wall

A collection of black and white film photographic prints by local North Devon artist George Rayner. This collection showcases Rayner's formative years as an artist, with a focus on themes of melancholy dreams. Often exploring his relationship with the environment through materialistic allegory in quiet landscapes with a gentle humour, while finding solace and serenity  amidst the chaos of existence, through composition, light, and negative space. Rayner creates a sense of stillness that encourages contemplation,  inviting viewers to delve into their own introspective landscapes. This collection serves as a visual diary, documenting steps that have shaped Rayner's artistic journey so far.
