About Arlington Court and the National Trust Carriage Museum
Arlington Court is an unexpected jewel on the edge of Exmoor, a complete family estate held by the Chichester family for over five hundred years. The collection consists of treasures for all tastes, from model ships to shells, collected over several generations. The house itself, built in 1823 and extended in 1860, has an austere facade. However, inside the cosy rooms purvey a homely, family atmosphere.
The Carriage Museum in the stables has a vehicle for every occasion from cradle to grave.

Atlantic Rest Burial
We are Sheridon and Tom Rosser, and we have lived all our lives close to the Cornwall/Devon border, where Penlow field is situated.
In 2005 Tom and I were introduced to the concept of natural burial, attending the funerals of three grandparents at natural burial sites. That opened our eyes to the taboo subject of how to sensitively take care of a body, once that person has died. We asked the question: “What would happen to us?”
Cremation was not our preference, although we understand that it is for others, and we welcome burial of ashes at Penlow. We saw that natural burial could be a positive gift to the environment, and a positive experience for relatives of the deceased, and so we began to search for suitable land locally.
It was several years before Penlow field revealed itself - owned by my family since 1959, and until 2013 by my late grandfather Cyril Hawkins. The green lane leading to the field was then completely overgrown, but now it leads through banks of wildflowers to our double award winning burial ground.* Penlow field is at the top of a valley, south facing, and offering, on a clear day, a glimpse of the sea - hence the name we chose: Atlantic Rest.

My name is Kelly and I live with two big dogs and my husband, in rural North West Devon.
I've been creative all of my life, but until I was 46 it was all done on a 'hobby' basis as I followed a career in other directions. But then one day I decided that it was time to change that and to focus on my love of painting and drawing. I decided to work under the studio name FabFunky, and things took off very quickly.
Since that time I have produced thousands of artworks and have built an amazing business that I love, with the help of with my husband, Gordon.
My art is collected around the world and features in many amazing homes from fabulous Scottish castles to ultra modern Malibu beach houses. I'm lucky to have worked with many of the worlds top interior designers, and have also supplied artworks to film and TV studios, museums, hotels and other wonderful venues around the world.
