Meditation is a relaxing session combining gentle movement, breath work and guided meditation followed by a friendly gathering over tea and cake.
Movement helps us prepare for meditation by bringing our focus into our body, encouraging energy to flow, relaxing our muscles and releasing tension we are holding. Following a series of movement (which can practised from a chair or in a sanding position) at a gentle pace is a great way of easing yourself into a short guided meditation as the mind and body are already relaxed, making these sessions perfect for those beginning to explore the benefits of meditation.
