Three generations exhibiting together
Margaret Peters Penny Bearman Lucy Somers
Margaret Peters’ paintings depicting huge red onions, over-sized abstracted hedgerows and extra-ordinary paint textures surrounded her daughter Penny Bearman while growing up in North Devon. Similarly, 30 years later, Lucy Somers, Penny’s daughter has grown up surrounded by Penny’s paintings. Now all three generations of Artists are exhibiting at the Plough with a commentary and critique of each other’s work. The exhibition represents a homage to Margaret who died 25 years ago, a celebration of her life and legacy.
Come and meet the family on Friday 26 February from 7pm
