Inhabiting a liminal space; somewhere between dream and reality, imagination and memory, StevieRay Latham's practice investigates how ideas of collective memory, history and identity are created. Working from images found in archives, family photo albums, WhatsApp groups and hard drives his paintings conjure ancestral ghosts in order to question how we remember working class histories.

In February through until April, the Plough and the Museum of Barnstaple and North Devon will be working together on a series of events and exhibitions entitled "SPEAKING OUT: Changing Times” looking at protest across North Devon.
